Mistral Experiences will do everything they can to accommodate guests with special diets. However, this type of food tourism is designed as an authentic food and wine experience highlighting local markets, business owners, wineries and restaurants. For this reason, we may not always have diverse food options available or be able to make substitutions.
Please let us know in advance if you have any special diet, allergy or dietary restrictions. We will let you know in advance what we can do to accommodate you.
No need to worry about language. Franck is native to this region and is fluently bilingual. Naomi also speaks her own special brand of Canadian French and can get by in most situations. If you have a little French, most people will appreciate your effort and many will speak to you in English if they can.
Mistral Experiences are most suitable for adults (guests must be 18+) who are interested in experiencing a slower pace of travel while enjoying locally sourced food, wine and an authentic village feel. Guests will be in good physical health and enjoy walking (on sometimes quite hilly and rough cobblestone streets) and be adventurous in trying new foods and drinks. If you are looking to design a personal tour that includes children under 18 or have limited mobility, please contact us directly and we will see what we can do to help offer a Mistral Experience that is just right for you.
Mistral Experiences guests usually travel in air-conditioned vans (1 or 2 ; 7-9 passenger vans depending on group size). This allows us the freedom to be flexible and add in special opportunities which may arise. It also allows for spontaneous trips to near-by villages should it be requested.
Naomi and Franck will arrange to meet you in Montpellier with your air-conditioned transportation. They will be there to greet you upon arrival drop you off for your departure. You will receive more detailed information about this in your detailed travel itinerary upon booking so you may plan your other travel arrangements accordingly.
